Carpi (MO), 10 february 2026 — Sogedim, a well-established logistics partner for or Italian and international companies, continues to grow and strengthen its international network in collaboration with Transtir — a company it recently fully acquired — by enhancing and integrating the daily groupage transport and shipping service between the Carpi–Campogalliano (Modena) hub in Emilia-Romagna and the United Kingdom.
The daily groupage transport and shipping service from Italy to the United Kingdom, operational since 9 February 2026, is based on a dedicated daily shuttle departing from the logistics hubs of Campogalliano, Carpi and Prato. The service enables the consolidation of goods collected in Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Central and Southern Italy, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of shipments to the UK.
Today, Sogedim further strengthens its presence in the UK market. Thanks to a structured international coordination model, the Group is able to guarantee reliable and robust management of Italy–UK flows, even in complex logistics environments.
Complementary solutions allow Sogedim to offer fast, secure and sustainable transport services, with a daily frequency that ensures continuity, reliability and speed to one of the key markets for Italian exports, in cooperation with long-standing partner Simarco.
Today, customers with shipments to the United Kingdom can rely, within a now-steady post-Brexit context, on a service offering that combines even more efficient and capillary transport management between Italy and Great Britain with strong expertise in import and export customs clearance, ensured by qualified customs professionals, and many years of experience in identifying the most efficient routes. Optimized transit times and structured flow coordination — including ADR dangerous goods and temperature-controlled transport— represent key differentiating factors of the service.
The company’s branches in Milan, Turin, Campogalliano–Carpi and Prato position Sogedim at the heart of Italy’s domestic and international transport corridors. The objective is to meet any transport requirement, including urgent shipments: within this strategy, which leverages time as a competitive advantage, the Campogalliano–Carpi and Prato hubs play a crucial role, fully integrated with the Group’s international partners and networks.
Emanuele Codazzi, CEO of Sogedim, commented:
“The integration of Transtir into Sogedim’s excellence services, such as the daily connection with the United Kingdom — a market in which we have been operating for over 35 years — is a natural step. Extending the same service quality and operational approach to Transtir branches strengthens our ability to offer structured road freight consolidation to one of Europe’s most in-demand destinations. Our goal is to create tangible value for our customers by making their supply chains increasingly efficient and competitive.”
Valentin Dima, Chief Operating Officer of Sogedim, added:
“This daily service strengthens our presence on the Italy–UK corridors and represents a further milestone in our international development strategy. We continuously invest to actively support business growth in foreign markets through best-in-class transport solutions, prioritizing those that are historically most relevant to us, such as the United Kingdom.”
The extensive partner network built by Sogedim has continued to expand over the years, ensuring customers increasingly streamlined, efficient and widespread freight transport services to and from Great Britain.
With this integration, Sogedim confirms its commitment to building an ever more solid, flexible and market-oriented logistics network, already looking ahead to further developments and enhancements of its international connections.
