Sogedim nuovo HUB nazionale internazionale di Palletways

From 1st September 2021 the freight forwarder officially joined the circuit.

Sogedim, multimodal freight forwarder and primary logistics operator, following the recent partnership agreement signed with the First Express Delivery Network for palletized goods in Italy and Europe, Palletways, will manage pallet transport requests in an even more efficient way on behalf of customers.

The service will be managed through the new 50,000 sq m warehouse of Sogedim in Mesero, HUB from which all the Italy – world express pallet transport operations will take place with the guarantee of a wider choice of ground transport solutions on pallets, an active warehouse 24 hours a day, a greater availability of circuits and vehicles, a better quality – price ratio for both national and international pallets.

A great opportunity for customers, who will be able to take advantage of even faster departures and picking throughout the country by means of a multi-award-winning groupage service that has been tested as adequate and successful.

Thanks to its privileged position on the outskirts of Milan, the warehouse is the ideal cross-docking platform for cross-border goods traffic between Italy and Europe and for the safe management of products of any industrial type on pallets.

The Sogedim brand actively contributes to the pressing economic recovery of the companies in the Milanese hinterland affected by the pandemic, improving their national and international traffic with efficient transport and logistics operations. The passage to Palletways is therefore strategic in choosing Sogedim as a partner to further improve its powerful influence in the area.

The Sogedim-Palletways axis is expected to bring new productivity benefits soon thanks to a strong and even more widespread network. Based on the different needs of express transport on pallets, the services, Economy and Premium, are offered in flexible, dedicated and tailored sales approaches, ideal for the dynamic, resilient and competitive industry, which still discounts and does not forget the recent lockdowns.
